Santana Diabla Lopez is a major character on Glee, and is alumna of William McKinley High School as of Goodbye. She served as the co-captain of the Cheerios, as a member of the school's Glee Club, the New Directions and was previously a member of the all-girls second Glee Club, The Troubletones. Santana was outed as a lesbian in season three. Before that, she had been struggling with accepting. This section is in need of major improvement. Please help improve this article by editing it. I felt that Santana's character seemed more bisexual than lesbian, for one, she has dated both girls and guys and actually seemed emotionally invested in some guys; (her being jealous when Puck was singing to Lauren). She did such a good job of showing the fear that you're going to let down the people you love. I cry every time I watch that scene, because I know how hard it is. I cried when I watched it, even before I knew I was bisexual.

I faked illness a lot that year to stay home from school, a place where I was bullied and had no real friends. Santana Lopez, my favorite character on Glee , happened to be going through a similar struggle with her sexuality, in love with her best friend Brittany Heather Morris and having no idea how to navigate those feelings. Or maybe that was just me.
